Desiccated Coconut Powder

White coconut kernel meat, shredded or granulated and dried — supplied against a complete written specification.

Desiccated coconut powder is produced from the white meat of a mature coconut kernel: pared, shredded or granulated, then dried to a low, stable moisture content. Because the product carries 63–69% crude fat, everything about its shelf life comes down to how well that fat is protected — which is why free fatty acid and peroxide value belong on the specification, not just moisture.

The full physical, chemical and microbiological specification below is what we ship against. Granulation is the parameter buyers most often need adjusted, and it is stated as a mesh distribution rather than a vague grade name so there is nothing left to interpret.
