Sugar — Sovereign Nutriment

Sugar is our largest export line. We supply high-quality crystal sugar to overseas markets, graded on ICUMSA colour value so that a buyer in any market can specify exactly what they need without ambiguity — below 45, below 65, below 100, or above 100 where colour is not critical.

Fine and super-fine grain are produced to buyer specification. Beyond food use, sugar is a major industrial fermentation feedstock: ethyl and butyl alcohol, glycerine, citric acid, soaps and resins all begin with it, and industrial buyers generally work to a different colour and ash brief than food buyers do.
